Our AI uses a combination of TF-IDF (Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency) and semantic analysis to identify the most significant terms in your document. TF-IDF measures how frequently a word appears in the document relative to how commonly it appears across all documents — this weights domain-specific terminology and content-defining words above common filler words. Semantic analysis groups related terms and identifies key concepts beyond exact word matching, capturing the topical clusters of the document.

Output and interpretation
The tool returns the top 15 keywords and key phrases ranked by relevance score. Pay particular attention to 2-3 word phrases — these are typically the most useful for SEO targeting as they balance specificity with search volume.

Yes. Upload a PDF (up to 100 MB) and the tool extracts the text layer and identifies the most important keywords. Scanned PDFs require OCR processing first.

Can I use this for SEO keyword research?
