Quality and resolution settings

Is quality preserved after format conversion?
A slight quality loss is unavoidable during transcoding (re-encoding). Use the "high quality" setting to minimize this. Converting between the same codec (e.g. H.264 to H.264) at high quality produces nearly identical results.
Can I convert MP4 to MOV without quality loss?
Near-lossless conversion is possible at high quality settings. Since both MP4 and MOV can contain H.264 video, the video stream can be copied without re-encoding when the container is the only thing changing.
What is the maximum video file size?
Videos up to 500 MB per upload are supported.
Can I convert video to MP3 or other audio-only formats?

Which format is best for uploading to YouTube?
